Simple lines enhanced by refined details and noble materials, such as the iconic Canaletta Walnut wood and natural leather in different finishes, make Bayus wooden night tables unique and stylish design elements.
The Bayus collection was originally created for the night area, including nightstands and chests of drawers of different sizes. The entire line of modern night tables is characterized by a solid wooden structure divided into two – Bayus 1 and 5- or four – Bayus 2 – open compartments designed to insert distinctive drawers with leather or wood front typical of the entire collection. Bronzoro metal frames with brushed brass end-feet distinguish Bayus 1 and 2 from Bayus 5, which is configured as a suspended night table.
Gabriele Buratti, architect and professor of interior architecture at the Design department of Politecnico di Milano and Oscar Buratti, architect, together founded the BURATTI ARCHITETTI studio. The Studio has a multidisciplinary practice, which covers buildings and urban areas, architecture to interiors, furniture and object design, as well as design of exhibitions and showrooms. An intense and varied professional path in which themes, places and typologies, brands and people, materials and craftsmanship, mingle together. Buratti brothers share with Porada the intention of combining culture and professional specialization, experimentation and technique, original visions, and product quality. “We don’t believe in striking gestures, but in the ability to transfer into the object a broader view of the space, good technique and care of detail.”
