With its typical rounded shape, Bolla is characterized by a simple and sober design.
The Bolla table lamp, created by designer Oriano Favaretto, is part of Porada’s collection of ash wood table lamps. The base in ash, obtained from sustainable forests owned by Porada, is available in all the finishes of the collection and in the matt lacquered version in many colours and can be combined with white opal or smoked glass diffusers. The wide range of finishes for both the base and the diffuser, provides an enormous variety of available combinations, making Bolla an elegant table lamp that can adapt to atmospheres of the most diverse styles.
Born in 1956 in Silea, Treviso, Favaretto is a creative visionary in search of new concepts and emotions, seeking out the balance between the form and content. He attended the Accademia delle Belle Arti with Emilio Vedova, the master of “gestures and signs”. Another important experience that influenced him was the collaboration with Ennio Chiggio, to whom Favaretto became apprentice and collaborator. He also worked with many renowned industrial design companies. His artistic works are exhibited at the Museo del Vetro in Murano and can be found in many private collections.
