Staffan Tollgard was born in Stockholm and brings Scandinavian DNA to his designs with a focus on functionality, a key element in all his creations. Staffan is an internationally renowned and award-winning interior and product designer. He is the founder of three prestigious design stores in London where the best contemporary design brands are gathered. Very close to Porada’s corporate philosophy, he has been an integral part of the design team for some years now. Filippo Castellani was born in Pisa, studied in Florence and graduated in Milan. A creative consultant and designer for several internationally renowned brands, his work ranges from the design of high-end and limited production items to consumer products. According to his conception, the essence of his design is informal, balanced, unconventional, defined, with attention to detail.
Porada
Everything ‘s born from the love of wood. The solid wood, worked with the craftsmanship of those who know how to turn a log into a piece of artwork. Porada has its origin in this passion. It was established in 1968 by Luigi Allievi with the aim of expanding the production of chairs, started in 1948.
The Porada collection is wide and varied, made up of a multitude of occasional furniture developed in cooperation with designers as Marconato and Zappa, Carlo Ballabio, David Dolcini, Emmanuel Gallina, Patrick Jouin, Tarcisio Colzani, Staffan Tollgard, Studio Opera, Gino Carollo, Dainelli Sudio and Studio Buratti among the others.
