A visual minimalism that, at first glance, gives away little about the unique seating experience it has to offer. In this respect, FAME is typically Wittmann: its pared-down form would not forgive even the most miniscule of processing deviations – its contours are simply too exacting for that. A chair that immediately radiates charming understatement, and only reveals its exceptional comfort upon closer inspection. Like the lounge chair, the chair is defined by a delicate, slightly elastic backrest and armrest shell defined by precisely executed top stitching. In consultation with the designer, a particularly high-quality saddle leather was selected for the body of this exceptional chair. In the furniture sector, it demonstrates its key qualities precisely at the juncture that the FAME Chair occupies – namely as a resilient support material for flexible or gently swinging seating furniture.
