An eye-catching piece of design, a classic-modern meant to last over the time.
With its undeniable elegance, infinity is an iconic piece of Porada’s collection. Infinity was initially created as a round dining table with glass top and now it is available with a ceramic or solid wooden top and with oval, rectangular or elliptic shapes. The base is a piece of sculptural art in solid wood (available in Ashwood or Walnut), and it can be used for many table design ideas, for example as a console table for a foyer staircase. Infinity dining table is available in many different dimensions, with one central base or with two bases for large rectangular and oval tables. A metal ring supports the wooden base; this is available in chromed or black chromed, for a more traditional table, and in grey pewter for a more modern style. Presented with a collection of Porada dining chairs, Infinity elegantly furnishes dining room sets.
Born in 1974, Stefano Bigi was raised between France and Italy, two countries where culture and art are timelessly dominant and live eternally. His love for both cultures, inspired him to pursue a study of beauty in all its forms. After studying art in France, followed by a career in web design field, at the age of 31 he couldn’t ignore his real passion anymore: the furniture and objects design. In 2005 he took a leap of faith, moved to Milan and founded the Stefano Bigi Design Studio. The value that distinguishes his design is the ambitious and continuous search for a unique atmosphere, in which furniture is not a constraint but a desire. Over the years his practice grew from strength to strength and for Porada he designed his most famous dining table, the Infinity table. “In my opinion, Design is an endless and exasperated search for the right balance between aesthetics and comfort, between form and function.”
