Nyan is the result of the reinterpretation of the wooden double bed characterized by a timeless design, which combines aesthetic perfection and functionality.
The Nyan bed with high headboard blends the warmth of Canaletta walnut wood used for the frame and feet, with the softness of natural leather, Cuoietto or fabrics, proposed for the cover of the headboard and the bed frame. Handcrafted workmanship and refined details, typical of Porada’s productive culture, have been designed by the Buratti brothers and give the upholstered double bed a contemporary style. The design element that distinguishes Nyan is undoubtedly the upholstered headboard with its elegant shape and careful stitching. This is completed by a wide range of quality bed bases and mattresses.
Gabriele Buratti, architect and professor of interior architecture at the Design department of Politecnico di Milano and Oscar Buratti, architect, together founded the BURATTI ARCHITETTI studio. The Studio has a multidisciplinary practice, which covers buildings and urban areas, architecture to interiors, furniture and object design, as well as design of exhibitions and showrooms. An intense and varied professional path in which themes, places and typologies, brands and people, materials and craftsmanship, mingle together. Buratti brothers share with Porada the intention of combining culture and professional specialization, experimentation and technique, original visions, and product quality. “We don’t believe in striking gestures, but in the ability to transfer into the object a broader view of the space, good technique and care of detail.”
